The Role
 
We are looking for a highly capable Systems Engineer to support our rapidly growing consultancy, specifically in requirements management processes.
 
Through solid engagement with clients & suppliers, you will understand requirements, moving on to developing systems engineering plans, requirements documentation & Verification & Validation specifications.
 
 
  • Planning & execution of the full system engineering lifecycle, from operational concept development, requirement elicitation, system specification through to system testing.
  • Providing V&V inputs at early stages of projects to facilitate acceptance & handover of complex projects.

As a Systems Engineer, you will have -
 
Qualifications & Experience: 
 
  • Experience in systems verification review & verification of requirements;
  • Experience in the Rail Industry;
  • Proficiency in model-based system engineering tools;
  • Full understanding of IBM Rational DOORS;
  • Familiarity with IEC15288, SEBok, INCOSE, CENELEC 50126, IEE 1220 (ISO / IEC 26708) IEC 15288;
  • Strong results in an engineering degree, alternatively an IT degree in electronics, computing or similar;
  • Experience & understanding in applying railway technical standards (e.g. QR, ARTC, Aurizon).
 
You will need at least 4 years specific experience working with rail systems engineering, with some of those in a consultancy environment
 
  • Experience with managing the planning & programming of rail engineering design activities;
  • Planning & execution of the full system engineering lifecycle, from operational concept development, requirement elicitation, system specification through to system testing.

Remuneration
 
To attract a well rounded systems engineer, a very attractive salary circa $180,000 is on offer, plus benefit from an established continuous professional development framework that is unfortunately rare in the market.
