National Manager, Property


Senior leadership role within the property team for a non property business. Managing property managers & leasing managers on a national portfolio.

The Company

A large and diverse company with a market capitalisation of circa $2bn. Headquartered in metropolitan Sydney, the company has a significant portfolio of leases across all states. 

The portfolio (2,500 plus leases) is largely office & retail. These locations are live/operating business environments with a corporate feel in the service sector.

The internal property team consists of property management, leasing, project management & development.

The Opportunity

As a senior role within the property team, you will utilise your experience in commercial property to achieve outcomes for your key stakeholders, primarily state managers & business directors for various service lines.

The organisation is undergoing significant change, and therefore a key component of this role will be to galvanize your colleagues and identify opportunities to add value to the bottom line through greater efficiency and cost savings in regards to property occupancy & the changing business environment/requirements.

The efficiencies, savings and improved solidification of property, will be achieved through property leasing/negotiation as well as better and more effective management of contracted service providers.

The property team is circa 10 people, so there is a strong blend of experience primarily gained from other corporate real estate environments.

You will report to an experienced & highly capable Head of Property.

The Candidate

You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial property, property leasing and extensive knowledge in the corporate real estate arena. You will have excellent stakeholder management, as well as significant strength in the area of communication & leadership.

You will be tertiary qualified and be able to point to a track record in achieving outcomes, being adaptable & agile, as well as carrying the support and respect of peers.
