One of the best things is they are open to any sort of work flex request, so don't be shy in letting me know your working demands! School hours, school terms, part time, there's no limit to what they will consider.

There's long term project life, already an amazing mixture of work styles and diversity on the project and a real collegiate atmosphere.

With more and more design work coming in house, we're looking for experienced traffic planner/engineer who either has contractor or design / consultancy side experience for long term work.

General tasks will be

  • planning and designing construction traffic management (inhouse or overseeing engaged consultancies)
  • developing and obtaining approval for traffic staging strategies
  • road safety
  • overseeing site implementation activity for efficiency and practicality
  • effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders including design and construction teams, road agencies, local councils, emergency service agencies, and other stakeholders
  • supporting the design and construction teams by providing advice on all traffic and road safety related issues

Ideally, you'll have a

  • Minimum 3 years experience working for a contractor implementing traffic designs on large scale infrastructure projects
  • Alternatively, a mixture of designing traffic and safety plans with some site based oversight
  • Civil Engineering Degree

There are solid professional development and work stretch / growth opportunities.

You'll need a few years of experience working on a transport project, and a willingness to commit for at the very least, the project term.

We absolutely welcome people from all walks of life, male or female, LBGTIQ+ or otherwise, and it would be fantastic to assist a refugee or two.
