The Company

Leading global insurance firm with a superb reputation in their marketplace requires an experienced Claims Officer. You will be an integral member of this collaborative claims team supporting a recent influx of claims. Based in brand new offices in the CBD This position is to start immediately initially on a temporary basis, with potential extension opportunities for high performing candidates. 

The Role
  • Determine coverage under the insured's policies
  • Establish and negotiate liability
  • Effectively and confidently manage the settlements with clients
  • Administer documentation for all of the claims
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Risk Specialists
  • When requested produce detailed and high quality reports
  • Execute the claims handling process and procedures and review for continuous improvement
The Successful Candidate:
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent 
  • 1-3 years' previous claims experience within general insurance 
  • Experience within processing claims and policy administration
  • Excellent customer focus and ability to develop long term client relationships
  • Ability to manage own work and competing priorities
  • Sound communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Excellent attention to detail
Working Holiday Visa Holders with relevant Claims Insurance experience will be considered.
