Senior Manager - Group Regulatory Reporting

The Company
Our client, a leading name in the Financial Services industry, has an outstanding work culture and environment. They are currently seeking a talented Regulatory Reporting Senior Manager to join their group on a contract to assist with regulatory change projects. 

The Role 
Working in a highly collaborative project team, you will be primarily responsible for delivering on major regulatory change projects for the Group. 

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Working with a number of internal stakeholders and teams to deliver on projects relating to regulatory changes
  • Being a key liaison between the project team and other business units
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of the backlog, providing support and direction to the project team and other subject matter experts working on the project
  • Co-ordinating across the broader regulatory reporting teams, including the local reporting teams to assess and analyse impacts, assess the changes, including validation of any assumptions and interpretations
  • Ensuring robust controls are in place and conform to the Regulatory Reporting framework of the business
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting policies and processes
  • Provide effective training of staff on regulatory returns
  • Build sound working relationships with APRA
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be CA or CPA qualified, with previous experience working in the financial services industry in a regulatory reporting role. You will ideally have experience working on projects and have a solid understanding of regulatory related issues in the financial services industry. You must possess a proactive attitude and ability to act as a trusted partner to the business.
