We are currently on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Officer who has experience in high volume transactions coupled with a love for going above and beyond the norm to really make a mark in not only the team but the company!


The role

This role would suit an individual who is looking for a role that they can make their own and who enjoys building rapport within their team and external stakeholders.

This is not your everyday Accounts Payable role.

If you have extensive experience in an Accounts Payable setting coupled with an in-depth understanding of financial processes, a high level of Microsoft Office skills and experience utilising Pronto then read on.


Key responsibilities of this role include; 

  
  • Performing end-to-end accounts payable functions
  • Entering all invoices in an accurate and timely manner
  • Preparing payment and EFT runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Monthly account reconciliations
  • Management of the AP inbox
  • Liaising with Site Management
  • Assisting with general accounting procedures as required
  
  To be considered for this opportunity you will have; 
  
  • Demonstrated experience as an Accounts Payable Officer
  • Pronto software experience essential
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Highly organised and excellent time management skills
  • Strong grasp of mathematics
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Experience in the mining and minerals industries highly regarded coupled with experience in liaising with Site Management and staff
  • Be values driven and enjoy people contact as much as you enjoy following processes and procedures
  • Advanced computer skills – all MS office suite programs with high regard to Excel
