Exclusively Listed with Legal People...Our client is a well-established law firm with a cohesive culture, excellent staff retention and strong leadership & management practices. With an ever- growing clientele (typically individuals, small business & SME's), they are now able to offer this exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lawyer (with strong litigation, commercial & civil skills) to join them (full or part-time).

About this role...

In this role....you will work with a good level of autonomy, alongside the Principal and the broader team on a wide range of Commercial & Civil Litigation matters (approx 80% of work mix) arising from eg.

contract breaches;
building and property disputes;
partnership disputes;
debt recovery, bankruptcy & insolvency;
copyright infringement;
corporations law.

Essentially this role will require solid experience in managing a broad range of litigation, ideally including advocacy skills. In addition to taking on some commercial (non-litigious files) from time to time. It is also envisaged that the right candidate will be able to operate with a good deal of autonomy in a busy environment that throws up all manner of matters from one day to the next!

Ideal candidates... will have:-

demonstrated experience (envisage around 4 years plus pae), across a variety of commercial dispute/resolution and general commercial matters;
impressive interpersonal skills to foster strong professional relationships;
solid technical/organisational skills and work ethic;
proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities, within a thriving practice.
