You will be maintaining a number of SaaS application including core banking platforms for a Neo-Bank.

Company:
The company is a financial fintech organisation,  100% independent digital Neobank for Australians. They are building and designing this bank from ground up for mobiles using AI technology. Neobanking will disrupt the existing banking model and create a whole new generation experience.
  
  
Role:
As the Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting all business platforms and applications. This includes a core banking platform along with integrated SaaS applications. This is a misttion critical role within IT Operations so you will be expected to take a hands-on approach to future proof the business, as the organisation grows.

To be successful in this role you must have excellent stakeholder management & communication skills, a problem-solving mindset as well as a customer-focused attitude. We are looking for people who can start running from day one, own the role and be a key contributor to the team.
  
  
Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day support and maintenance for the core banking platform and integrated SaaS applications
  • Managing incidents, problems & changes through JIRA Service Desk
  • Vendor engagement across a panel of SaaS vendors
  • Stakeholder management with key business users
  • Drive ITSM/ITIL processes within the organisation
  • Identifying recurring problems and implement process and system enhancements to drive continual improvement
  • Rostered on-call support
  
Requirements:
  
  • Experience supporting real-time event-driven messaging architectures
  • Proven track record maintaining platforms and supporting business- critical applications.
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications and retail banking applications
  • AWS/ JAVA based application experience or knowledge
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • ITIL certified
  • Core Banking/Finance/GL experience highly regarded
  • 5+ years prior experience in a corporate environment
