Who is Nido?
The Nido collection of early schools for children first opened in 2014 to provide families with a new standard of Early Childhood Education and Care. The word ‘Nido’ is Italian for ‘nest’ (pronounced neeh-doh) and was inspired by the educational project of Reggio Emilia' the philosophy in which our services are founded on.

What our next Rockstar Looks like?

You will be are an experienced and passionate advocate for the Early Education Sector.  You will have been an Educator for another service before but haven’t found the right nest, until you found Nido. We are currently looking for Casual Educators to join the nest and help

You will be able to encourage every child to learn from and help others through collaborative learning opportunities. Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs whilst documenting each child’s learning. Support learning and development from a play – based approach and take personal ownership of service quality.

Finally – and it goes without saying – you always advocate for children's rights, aligned with consistent delivery of the Company values and achieve this through interpreting the Reggio Emilia approach in an Australian context.

Our team of educators are looking for an additional member who will be energetic, committed and focused on the needs of children as individuals and as part of a group.  They can't wait for you to come and see their Service Philosophy and to assist in bringing learning to life. The team is passionate about building meaningful relationships with the children, families and extended community. 
The ‘Credentials’
  • Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within an early education setting
  • A Valid working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
