High street Early Learning and Kinder is a 92 place recently renovated service offering a beautiful balance of character and fresh new finishes creating a homely feel for children, children, and educators to enjoy.

The service has 5 rooms and a fantastic outdoor environment promoting rich learning opportunities for the children. We are looking for an experienced Executive Service Leader that can lead the team in offering an exceeding quality curriculum that ensures the local community views the service as a leader in the Early Childhood Sector in the Lalor area.

About You

You are an experienced and highly qualified leader in the sector, looking for your next opportunity to build and develop a team of inspired and professional teachers and educators. You have experience driving service performance, supporting, and developing a strong team while advocating for children and their rights.  Your commitment to leading a service on its path to exceptional quality is endless and you have the support of a dedicated team that shares your vision.

The Role:

Working in partnership with your Area Manager, Service Administrator and Educational Leader, you will enjoy:
  • Managing a financially viable service by achieving and maintaining occupancy while delivering quality early education and care.
  • Advocating for Children at all times, acting in their best interest while upholding the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics and United Nations Rights of the Child.
  • Supporting your team to ensure consistent and effective delivery of the Early Years Education Program.
  • Actively Participating in learning and development programmes to support self-learning and professional learning.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in the Sector.
  • Leading, guiding, and developing meaningful and supportive relationships with each child.
  • Advocate for children’s rights and lead service-based employees in consistent delivery of company values.
  • Leading and maintaining a professional approach to work, which reflects the Service philosophy, policies, and procedures to ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of Service Operations.
To be considered, you will have:
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Full Working Rights in Australia.
  • ACECQA Approved Bachelor of Education (Birth to Five) or Working Towards.
  • Prior Experience as a Centre Manager in an Early Learning Environment.
  • State Specific Teachers Registration
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
