Early Childhood Teacher and Curriculum Lead | Byford

Nido Early School Byford is a beautifully designed service that is licenced for up to 82 children a day. All our educators can contribute to the program, which maintains a happy and engaged team.  If you are a highly qualified and experienced early years professional, with a passion to inspire our educators and children we want to hear from you.
Both the ECT and CL positions require strong leadership, however, being the Curriculum Lead you must have proven experience as an Educational Leader and show attributes that will prove you are capable of lifting an already great team in their knowledge and the quality of the teaching practices.

About You

You are an inspiring and experienced Early Childhood Teacher/Educational Leader, who values partnership, collaboration, and support. You thrive through mentoring and guiding your fellow educators and being guided by each child’s interests. You are a passionate advocate for children, the sector, and your personal development.

About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, it is your role to develop, implement, and evaluate our educational programs that are in line with the Reggio Emilia approach, the National Quality Framework, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
As the Curriculum Leader, you will work as part of the management team.  The centre has been open for one year and the team culture is evolving and developing as we grow.  We require a strong leader who can bring the team on a professional journey that will ensure we deliver world class care, education practice and teaching philosophies that bring the centre’s values to life. 

To be considered, you will have:
  • Bachelor of Education or master’s degree (ACECQA approved Australian equivalent)
  • Active Teachers Registration if applicable.
  • A valid working with children checks
  • First Aid Certificate, preferable.
  • Previous experience in delivering high-quality education and care (long day care setting preferable)
  • Knowledge of personal responsibilities under the National Quality Standards and Regulations.
