Team Lead l Early Childhood Teacher | Baldivis

Nido Early School Baldivis is a charm filled service that can cater for up to 104 children a day. This homely center is well known for its strong family feel and close knit educators that have worked closely over the years to establish a strong and passionate team. They also work closely with the local community and have developed opportunities to work closely with the local community center and regular excursion's to the local park (pre-covid). 

This position requires strong leadership for the Kinder Room and you must be able to show attributes that will prove you are capable of lifting an already great team in their knowledge and the quality of the teaching practices at the service.

About You

You are an inspiring and experienced Early Childhood Teacher, who values partnership, collaboration, and support. You thrive through mentoring and guiding your fellow educators and being guided by each child’s interests. You are a passionate advocate for children, the sector, and your personal development.


About the Role
  
As the Early Childhood Teacher and Team Leader, you will work as part of the management team and work within the different classrooms to role model for your fellow educators. The other half will be spent on programming to support the curriculum and program. We require a strong leader who can bring the team on a professional journey that will ensure we deliver world class care, education practice and teaching philosophies that bring the centres values to life. 
 

To be considered, you will have:
  • Bachelor of Education or master’s degree (ACECQA approved Australian equivalent)
  • Active Teachers Registration if applicable.
  • A valid working with children checks
  • First Aid Certificate, preferable.
  • Previous experience in delivering high-quality education and care (long day care setting preferable)
  • Knowledge of personal responsibilities under the National Quality Standards and Regulations.
