Due to the continued success of our Australian operations, our Water business is seeking Junior to Mid-level Water / Wastewater Planning Engineers, on Fixed Term Contract or Permanent roles. 

The successful candidate will join WSP’s National Asset Management and Planning team offering a variety of opportunities, however, our immediate need is for someone who is proficient in Infoworks ICM to be involved in some exciting new projects. 

As a developing member of our team, you will be assisting senior engineers with delivering efficient and effective engineering consultancy services to our public and private sector clients.

Main requirements for the role: 
  • Have a Bachelor of Civil or Environmental Engineering degree
  • Typically between 2 to 5 years’ experience
  • Wastewater calibration experience is an advantage but not essential for the right candidate
  • Experience in water/ wastewater planning at either a master planning/ detailed planning level
  • Some experience in the construction and manipulation of water and wastewater models, including the following platforms - SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWater, Water GEMS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ideally some previous experience in a consulting environment or with a water authority
