Within WSP, our Major Projects business is composed of senior executives responsible for significant and iconic projects, that require the most talented and high-performing leaders who deliver for our clients. 
Given the recent and projected growth of WSP in servicing our Transport Infrastructure market, WSP is seeking to expand our Major Projects Business in Western Australia.

The Major Projects business is typically composed of leaders whom possess a broad design and project delivery experience together with a specialist background recognised within the industry. Typically, a candidate will have successfully delivered projects across a range of delivery models and ideally been involved in Client Designs, Design & Construct, Alliancing and understand project development from strategic and feasibility through to construction support.
Key accountabilities for this role encompass but are not limited to:
  • Be a qualified Engineer or equivalent.
  • Have proven experience in the leadership and delivery of major infrastructure design projects, ideally in WA.
  • Promoting WSP values ensuring a safe working environment is maintained.
  • Provision of high-quality technical vision, innovation, and leadership to deliver a quality product to meet key client expectations.
  • Support the growth and business development opportunities in the local WA Transport market.
  • Be accountable for business and project delivery including the implementation of appropriate project
  • management and risk management procedures.
  • Ensure all client interactions are conducted in accordance with our values and code of conduct.
  • Implement processes to maximise project growth and job from a job opportunity.
  • Ensure all client interactions are compliant with risk management procedures and acceptance risk profiles.
  • Oversight client projects underway, support the team or project team to ensure the client’s expectations are being addressed, regular project updates, whilst also supporting project growth.
  • Familiarity with design consultancy processes for actively pursuing bids, writing successful proposals and contributing to strategic business initiatives.
  • Led, managed, mentored and coached others in project management and project governance.
  • High level of experience in leading, inspiring and managing a high-performing delivery team.
