About the Role
This will suit a Draftsperson with estimating experience and excellent problem solving abilities and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You’ll be responsible for the following areas:
  • Estimating    
  • Following up on leads & turning them into jobs
  • Liaising with customers 
  • Preparation of manufacturing drawings for assembly & fabrication
  • Scheduling: Liaising with production on lead times & delivery   
Skills and experience
  • Electrical Engineering or Trade qualification
  • Know Electrical standards (A grade licence)
  • Understanding of sheet metal fabrication
  • Understanding of electrical switchboard design
  • Experience in AutoCad (essential)
  • Solidworks Electrical & use of simPro (advantageous not essential)
  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong planning and time management skills
