About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for performing all trade related tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of our rest houses and right of way.  As part of this you will be required to operate machinery and assist in rail related maintenance and construction tasks as required. 
 
About You
In order to be successful in this role it is essential that you have significant experience in:
  • performing maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance activities;
  • maintaining records associated with maintenance, repairs and modifications.
Required qualifications/experience:
  • trade in carpentry
  • Highly desirable is experience working in a rail environment
  • Full driving license
 
Applicants must be willing to be flexible on hours of work, be able to travel away from home and work on call and overtime as required by ARTC.
