Operating as the allied health branch of Healthcare Australia, W&L is Australia’s leading provider of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and allied health services to the elderly. We service over 200 residential aged care facilities nationwide, with a strong focus on using evidence-based programs to help our seniors find relief from pain, regain ability and mobility and get back to doing things that matter to them.
About you: 
We are looking for confident, driven clinicians who are eager to learn the ropes of practicing as an Occupational Therapist. You will have a keen interest in providing a high standard of care to the elderly, be results driven and a good conversationalist. We will provide the training to ensure that you excel in your job and feel comfortable treating residents.
You will have the following:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Police Check
  • CPR Certificate
  • AHPRA registration 
  • A genuine interest to help the elderly

Residential Aged Care settings:
You will work in a multidisciplinary team providing a variety of services such as:
  • Musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiothoracic care
  • Falls, balance and strength training
  • Pain management and complex care
  • Collaborative care with allied health professionals
Community settings:
You will work out in the community with participants in their homes to keep them living their best lives! You will be providing a variety of services such as:
  • Functional and mobility assessments
  • Prescription and facilitation of exercise programs
  • Management of respiratory conditions
  • Health promotion and education
  • Pain management interventions
  • Collaborative care with allied health professionals
You will work alongside management to provide the highest standard of care to residents in aged care facilities and be provided with a wealth of opportunities to progress into leadership roles across the country.
