As the Community Home Care Manager, you will lead and manage a highly experienced, multi-skilled nursing team and manage the daily operation of the multidisciplinary team delivering of state-wide quality clinical services to Aged clients living in the Community.
Key responsibilities
  • Leading and managing the Community Home Care Team to achieve customer care outcomes & commercial viability
  • Managing the daily operation of the  Health and clinical services
  • Leading and managing quality improvement projects and activities
  • Oversee to budget planning and monitoring expenditure and financial performance of the clinical health team, actively participate in the development of the annual budget, optimize the management of revenue streams, monitor ongoing budget performance and seek ongoing efficiencies
  • Manage the Home Care Operations within Home Care Packages, Commonwealth Home Support Program, Private & Commercial portfolios
  • Develop growth strategies for aged care services within the state and secure new business opportunities to enhance community access to aged care services
As the successful applicant, you will have 
  • Extensive management experience in an equivalent or relevant health care setting
  • Advanced clinical nursing or Allied skills and experience beneficial
  • Membership/Fellowship of relevant professional College is desirable
  • A relevant post-graduate qualification in health care management would be advantageous
  • Experience/qualifications in Aged Care highly desirable
  • Substantial experience in a senior leadership position leading staff
  • Highly developed analytical skills & capacity for sound judgement
  • Demonstrated initiative & strong desire to achieve results whilst maintaining a professional work ethic
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer service requirements
  • Current Drivers’ license
  • Experience in business development & contract development highly regarded
