Recruitment Revolution is very proud to be representing one of our oldest and dearest clients who are currently looking to recruit a Sales and Service Technician/Coordinator for their WA operation.

Our client is a privately owned, national-based company who is a specialist OEM of material handling equipment and controls. With more than 35-years experience, our client has established themselves as a industry leader and continually develops innovative products to ensure the best performance for their clients. 

The key focus of this position
 encompasses the planning, organising, implementation and supervision of all aspects of the Central Goldfields region, including; the promotion of equipment sales and pursuit of service contracts and training of personnel to meet or exceed client site requirements.

This position requires a self-motivated, results orientated, proactive and detailed planner to provide solutions to a broad demographic and guidance on all engineering issues, to multiple project teams and management.

The Role

In this position you will be responsible for the Central Goldfield area and will be based out of Kalgoorlie.
  
Job tasks and responsibilities
  • Provide technical liaison services between customers, product divisions and sales personnel.
  • Supervise and perform hands-on service work in the field to customers.
  • Perform technical evaluations and analyse belt and component condition.
  • Train and inform customers in the maintenance and service of products.
  • Promote company's products and services to customers.
  • Carry out investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications and delivered condition of products.
  • To be an ambassador for best practice in the field of Health, Safety and Environmental responsibility.
Skills and experience
  • Trade certificates – Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, Welding.
  • Strong experience in the maintenance of conveyor belt systems.
  • Sound experience as a Supervisor in the belt service industry.
  • Clear leadership capabilities with strong powers of motivation and knowledge transfer.
  • Basic computer literacy in MS Office – Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as; safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must have a positive attitude to workplace safety.
  • A demonstrated commitment to quality and concern for job-turnaround and customer downtime.
