What's the opportunity?

As a Marketing Campaign Analyst, you will be a part of the Data and Analytics team, providing crucial insights to ensure the sustained growth in customer engagement and sales outcomes from the campaigns delivered, including campaign performance and commercial analytics. You will help optimise business outcomes by ensuring that we target the right people, in the right place and the right time with the appropriate messages. 

The day to day?  
  • Analyse large datasets of structured and unstructured data to understand customer behaviour and trends
  • Support marketing in driving campaign effectiveness through ongoing optimisation of data selection and targeting.
  • Work with other areas of the team and data analytics capabilities (including data science) to develop insights and recommendations that will contribute to campaign design
  • Provide data support for end to end campaign execution including campaign design, experimentation and implementation, including building automation capability for “always on” marketing activity
  • Provide timely data to support effective pre campaign analytics including models to assess financial impacts
  • Support the team to build customer journeys in marketing automation tool – Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Be able to assist with providing quality control and oversight on campaigns
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to provide recommendations on future campaigns
  • Partner with stakeholders to closely understand requirements and integrate within analytics techniques.

What you will bring to the table?
  • Experience in turning data into meaningful insights and presenting them to stakeholders
  • 2+ years' experience in quantitative data analysis within a marketing environment. 
  • Experience working with large data sets and working in a high volume campaign environment
  • Experience interpreting briefs from stakeholders and working with analytical and marketing teams
  • Relational database design and development;
  • Previous experience using SQL would be an essential requirement for this role
  • Experience using data visualisation tools (like Tableau)
  • Programming languages such as JavaScript, python, R, SAS and HTML would be advantageous, however not essential.
