What’s the opportunity? 

In this exciting new role at Vocus you will support the sales, bid and marketing teams to develop quality content and materials to help deliver high calibre sales proposals and presentations. You will work with internal and external stakeholders nationally to deliver materials that support sales success.

What you’ll be doing in the role:
  • The marketing/proposal specialist will analyze RFPs, to help shape proposal strategy, contribute material as appropriate, edit drafts for clarity and consistency, and prepare final documents for submission as required to support the sales and bid team.
  • Take the lead role in the development of a content and collateral library aligned to the buyer journey.
  • Develop content, proposals and presentations to sales and the bid team.
  • Work with the brand and communications team to plan and produce materials ensuring all materials are effectively communicating the Vocus brand position.
  • Research and prepare market insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Value proposition development and copy writing and developing key documents.
  • Maintain and uplift internal systems for information management related.
  • Edit and format key documents for sales, bids and marketing materials.
What you’ll need to be successful:
  • Plenty of experience developing responses to detailed requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • You'll be confident working on proposals for technical product offerings such as Networking, Telecommunications or IT.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with exceptional prioritisation skills.
  • Your copy writing skills will be second to none.
  • You will be a master at making things look good with strong skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, or other desktop publishing programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies.

  • Confidence to influence outside of reporting lines and direct hierarchy
