What’s the opportunity?
The Enterprise & International Solution Manger will lead and develop a team of Solution Consultants in NSW. The role will drive consultation with strategic & enterprise customers, developing business focused global solutions, and provide thought leadership in technology and its application to business problems. This is a leadership role where you will stay close to the action. You will have direct engagement with customers, both through supporting your team members and individually.
What you’ll be doing in the role: 
  • Coaching a team of solution consultants. With a rich understanding of global networking and solutions; you’ll be a source of knowledge for the team in this arena and work with the International product teams.
  • Foster a culture of growth and accountability in the Solutions team.
  • Build strong relationships and communications with other regional solution consulting leads within Enterprise & Government and Wholesale & International.
  • Provide thought leadership on products, demand and new innovations to the Product teams.
  • Foster strong relationships with the partner community, and engage this community to provide briefings, training and other forms of engagement.
  • Working closely with your Solutions team, you’ll proactively and independently engage with customers, aligning with the Vocus NSW sales teams and strategies.
What you’ll need to be successful 
  • You’ll have at least 5 years leadership experience in a Solutions/Pre sales team.
  • Ample experience in a in end to end solution customer facing and technical pre-sales role.
  • Broad understanding of Communications standards and technologies including but not limited to:
    • o Networking Technologies
    • o Security Standards and Design
    • o Voice and Unified Communications
    • o Cloud Infrastructure
    • o Clear understanding of International Networking and Architecture.
  • Having previous experience of the international communications market, would enable you to leverage our amazing international reach and resiliency that sets us apart from other Telcos.
  • Ability to evaluate solutions on a number of dimensions including technical, commercial and operational.
  • Be comfortable in explaining solutions and ideas to internal and external stakeholders through written, verbal and visual representations. Clearly articulating benefits, risks and commercial frameworks of the solution options, allowing the customer to make an informed decision.
