What’s the opportunity?

As an Enterprise Business Development Manager at Vocus, you'll drive business growth both within an existing enterprise account customer base and by acquiring new business within defined lead portfolio. 

Your ability to build and manage successful customer relationships will be second to none. And you'll have an intimate understanding of the industry, competitors and trends, along with developing customer focused sales acquisition strategies that drive sustainable growth within portfolio of leads.

What you'll be doing day to day:
  • Build key relationships with new customers in your industry vertical
  • Provide analysis, identification and qualification of opportunities across aligned portfolio of customers/leads
  • Provide consultative services and information to customers advising them on the best option based on their needs
  • Be a consultative partner to prospects and customers, with a deep knowledge of their strategic direction and business needs
  • Identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support by building value proposition for solutions into the customer
  • Effectively managing sales pipeline and accurately report on sales figures
  • Partner closely with the sales team in the smooth hand off of deals to successful close
  • Using Vocus sales methodology and market insights, develop a customer focused sales acquisition strategy that drives sustainable growth within defined lead portfolio
  • Analyse and explore business and market trends and stay updated about new technological developments and trends taking place in the industry
  • Work closely with Vocus key solution partners in order to maintain a high level of product knowledge.
What you'll need to be successful:
  • Significant experience in customer facing roles business development roles.
  • Telecommunication background would be highly favorable.
  • Sound relevant product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients and translate client needs into a complete solution
  • Experience in engaging directly with customers and forming relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships and networking with professionals of all organisational levels.
  • Strong knowledge of industry and market trends.
