We are looking for an experienced, organised and delivery focused telecommunications project coordinator who is looking to be part of building something great and creating an outstanding customer experience. 
  
Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will work collaboratively across the Infrastructure teams and be a key conduit between Infrastructure, Sales and Marketing in delivering small to medium scale projects to Vocus customers.

We are looking for someone who can multitask, is comfortable engaging with multiple teams and is passionate about our customers’ and making their needs heard. This role is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract initially.

The day to day

The Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for managing the various component processes required to ensure the successful delivery of small to medium scale projects to Vocus customers. You may also be given the opportunity to support Project Managers on larger more complex solutions.
  • Manage the successful delivery of small to medium scale projects to Vocus customers.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all Vocus customers through the provisioning process
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Create and maintain professional project documentation – appropriate to the scale, complexity and risk of the project.
  • Follow documented project management processes for the delivery of all projects
  • Provide a single point of contact for enquiries, issues and escalations.
  • Where required, provide support to Project Managers
  • Assist with the continual improvement of processes within the Project Management team, National Service Delivery and across Vocus, where appropriate.
  • Assist in supporting/mentoring colleagues within the Project Management Team or wider Service Delivery, where appropriate.
  • Other duties, as required.

What you will bring to the table

Ideally with a background in Telecommunications you will be an integral member of our Enterprise Customer Delivery team working in a post-sales/post network design function to develop and implement project management disciplines, schedule resources and support the field team working closely with Project Managers to deliver projects.
  
The following skills, attributes and experience will help you stand out!
  • Experience in a project co-ordination/administration role, ideally the telecommunication industry
  • Internal and external/client facing experience and an excellent customer centric attitude
  • Exposure to risk/cost/time/quality/contractor management principles
  • Can demonstrate experience working with Project Management principles and methodology
  • Knowledge of fibre optic roll out and construction is an advantage
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn is crucial
  • Intermediate level computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, etc)
