This is an exciting and interesting role working within the major projects division for one of Sydney's largest and fastest-growing City Council's.  

The major projects division handles multi-$million dollar infrastructure projects encompassing community buildings, recreation facilities, sports & stadium, streetscapes, leisure & parks. 

Due to project volumes, an opening exists for a contract-management specialist to work with the Project Managers and Construction Planning teams.

Key responsibilities include;
  • Preparation & evaluation of construction tender documents
  • Provide contracts/legal advice to Council Project Management teams 
  • Prepare cost estimates and support negotiation on contract formation 
  • Supervise construction activities and maintain records accordingly
  • Understanding of AS4000 Australian Standards contracts
This is a full-time ongoing contract position that offers a flexible salary range to attract the best person. There is some flexibility of working hours and the potential for some work-from-home arrangements.
