About The Role
The role is ideally suited to an experienced automation project engineer. 

Who You Are
  • Must have at least 5 years’ automation project experience, preferably as a project engineer
  • Possess strong mechanical skills
  • Able to fault find across RS232 and ethernet using your electrical and software skills.
  • A good understanding of TCP/IP networks
  • A good understanding of Machine Vision and associated applications using hardware from SICK, Cognex and Omron
  • Possess a clean Driver's Licence
What You Will Typically Be Doing
  • Using your Machine Vision knowledge and .NET, ASP, JAVA, Node, HTML5, CSS3 skills to configure their proprietary software. (However, this is NOT a developer role.)
  • Fault finding using Microsoft SQL and other database tools
  • Meeting with clients to understand their needs and delivering solutions
  • Training end users
  • Travelling across Australia and occasionally New Zealand (currently 15-20 weeks per year), but this will rise as the company becomes more successful. Notice will always be provided
  • Training will be provided on regular basis
