Peak industry body for creative arts/design sector has a wonderful opportunity for a skilled, flexible and hands-on finance & admin officer / bookkeeper who can support the Director with all financial and administration management responsibilities on a 3 day per week basis.  

You can structure that as you please - .6 equivalent - and to begin with you can work either from home or in the office - which is in a fabulous location in the central CBD with a showroom /display space.

Adaptable & highly organised you will be skilled at bookkeeping, payroll, admin management , systems and improving processes and willing to help with anything the required in this small, creative, idiosyncratic team environment. 

This position is responsible for the effective financial management and administration of the operations, including:
• Accurate and efficient processing and record keeping of all financial transactions
• Management of monthly financial reporting to the Executive Director
• Oversight of all of financial operations, including its retail business
• Coordination of effective administration across systems for financial management, office management and membership support

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified as a minimum with a broad range of experience, passion for the creative industries, knowledge of government reporting ideally and a helpful, problem solving focused approach.   Ideally you will need to be experienced in MYOB and have a good understanding of managing accruals. You will need to be able to produce an accurate P&L statement and balance sheet each month and provide clarity on any variances to the budget. You must be able to ensure all ATO and Fair Work compliance requirements are met.

$60K plus super FTE (neg)
