We are currently looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. Now is an exciting time to join Tandem!

Who you'll be working with:

Position Summary:

As a Contracts Administrator you will be working closely with the Project Managers and Estimators to produce a comprehensive scope of works and then assist with all contractual matters including sub-contractor awards, claims, variations and payments.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Providing weekly detailed progress reports to all stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage subcontractor purchase orders as well as co-ordinate and plan site scheduling, including deliveries.
  • Drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution contract documentation and project management of building repairs
  • Assisting in the administration of contracts including procurement, budgets, progress claims, written documentation and disputes
  • Administration of all customer service requirements under the Head Contract and consistent to standard business practices
  • Supporting our highly functional team with tendering and tender response
  • Project supply ordering & costing to meet budgets set
  • Provide support to Project Managers
  • Other duties as directed by Tandem
 What we're looking for:
  • Qualifications and experience in contract management
  • Ability to read site plans and specifications for construction
  • Able to multitask and manage schedules
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Advanced computer skills including all Microsoft office (i.e. Project & Excel)
  • Time management and organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • A strong team player but also able to work autonomously and use own initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
