Position Summary:

The Compliance Officer is responsible for reviewing and monitoring compliance of the subcontractor workforce, identifying any issues – evaluating and minimising their potential impact on Tandem. The Compliance Officer will work closely with the Tandem business and liaise directly with the subcontractor workforce in each region to ensure all required documentation is held by the subcontractor workforce and are up-to-date at all times.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Work collaboratively with the relevant lines of business teams to ensure all compliance requirements are adhered to by the subcontractor workforce and maintained within Tandem’s source system.
  • Work with business managers to support the day-to-day operations of Tandem through monitoring and improving compliance and data quality.
  • Ensure subcontractors are aware of compliance requirements and deadlines relevant to their work type and facilitating the delivery of requirements as per Tandem’s requirements.
  • Coordinate administration of subcontractor compliance.
  • Advise and assist the Compliance Manager with the coordination, creation and update of documentation and processes.
  • Proactively manage identified compliance requirements
  • Identify potential areas of compliance risk – work with the Compliance Manager to develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations.
  • Ensure procedures and systems are adhered to with a view to continuous improvement of compliance measures and methodologies.
  • Develop reporting to identify expired and expiring contractual, legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Work with the compliance manager and other stakeholders to implement new strategies and systems to improve compliance performance as required.

  • Knowledge of subcontractor workforce compliance requirements is an advantage.
  • Sound computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, CMS and Consol, and computer literacy to learn other software packages as required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to OH&S.
