Tandem are seeking an experienced Senior Insights and Data Analyst to join the team.

What you’ll be doing:

The Senior Insights and Data Analyst will play a key role in using data to support the success of Tandem and its clients. This will involve providing insights into performance, developing reporting on analytics platforms and establishing a strong data governance framework. You will collaborate with leaders across the business and play an important part in the continued digital transformation of Tandem.
  
Core accountabilities will include but not limited to the following:
  • Develop and support data analytics solutions.
  • Ensure timely, efficient and accurate reporting of data and performance.
  • Ensure positive working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide information and analysis to relevant internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Undertake analysis of user requirements and development of relevant analytical models or technical solutions.
  • Solve challenges with data collection ensuring, where possible, automation of the processes.
  • Lead training workshops with business stakeholders on new report developments.
  • Ensure that internal customer requirements and expectations are understood, managed appropriately and delivered within required timeframes.
  • Keep informed of industry changes by scanning the market for new technology and new ways of working.
  • Assist with the management of the business intelligence platform including utilisation, certified datasets and user access.
  • Challenge conventional approaches to find new and better ways of working.
  • Leverage data to explore opportunities for AI/Machine learning use cases.
  • Other duties as directed by Tandem.
What we're looking for:
  • Experience working as a data analyst and building data models.
  • Ability to work with a large volume of structured and unstructured data.
  • Strong capability with SQL is essential and exposure to R, Python, Knime and other data preparation tools.
  • Exposure to the full Tableau suite or other similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Analytical mind and strong project management skills – Agile preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of data management and governance principles.
  • High-level written, verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders.
  • Possess passion and motivation to explore and apply machine learning to solve complex problems.
  • Sound organisational skills and time management, the capacity to undertake and complete several tasks concurrently.
  • Professionalism, flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced and vibrant business environment, a can do attitude.
  • Working collaboratively within a team and wider business.
