Our client is an international IPP with a portfolio of Wind and Solar Assets, including both Wind and Solar operating assets in Australia, and a portfolio of greenfield development opportunities (mostly NEM). Due to continued growth and project/business acquisition, they are seeking an experienced Project Development Manager to join their established Australian team, based in Melbourne.

The primary function of the role will be managing a progressive mix of Solar Farms and Wind Farms through permitting and DA, oversee EPC tender and then deliver projects during construction, with a big focus on landowner relationships and planning. A measurement of success will be to progress a Solar Farm project to build stage by end of 2020, gain DA for another SF & WF. In addition, you will be involved in Tender design and battery integration and award EPC for a small Hybrid project with solar, wind & battery and working across 3 or so projects which you will "own" .
We invite expressions of interest if you profile similar to the following 
  • Experience in the development phase of power generation, Renewable Energy greenfields projects (wind and solar preferred but not essential);
  • An emphasis on planning experience, with experience in landowner, landholder negotiations and agreements;
  • Some experience of coordinating the grid process and dealing with NSPs would be helpful; 
  • Comfortable leading internal and external resources to deliver project outcomes.
