Phillip Riley are a Renewable Energy recruitment firm with offices in the US, Australia and the Philippines. With huge demand for more renewable energy power generation in the US, we are growing our presence and are keen to speak with motivated, passionate people interested in making a contribution to a sustainable future.
We are currently recruiting for a recruitment Business Development Manager covering the Renewable Energy market in the US.
The Role
As BDM, you are accountable for market research across the Renewable Energy sector and for
generating new business that fits with our company mission and commercial objectives. To achieve the goals of this role, you are accountable for hitting revenue and activity targets, maintaining client and candidate relationship and providing up to date market and customer information on our global CRM.
Some of the tasks required in this role are:
  • Gathering industry information and identifying target companies and contacts that fit within the renewable energy sector
  • Attending conference and seminars to build, and maintain, business relationships
  • Cold calling and arranging customer meetings for yourself and others within the business
  • Presenting our service offering and negotiate terms of business
  • Secure recruitment assignments and work with colleagues to deliver successful outcomes following a consistent recruitment methodology
  • Meet and exceed key activity levels and sales targets
About you
We wish to speak with motivated people with the following skills/experience:
  • Experience in an Agency recruitment environment, delivering end to end recruitment assignments;
  • Ideallyindustry experience in the Energy, Sustainability, Engineering, Environmental and/or Climate Change sectors (not mandatory);
  • A consistent performer, reaching and exceeding typical recruitment metrics on an ongoing basis;
  • Professional, personable and credible with a broad range of stakeholders;
  • A team player, working collaboratively with peers;
  • Excellent communication skills.
