Founded in 2017 by a group of renewable energy industry veterans, FTC Solar is headquartered in Austin, Texas with sales and support resources in Australia, India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. 

Responsibilities
  • Develop business development & sales strategies for the utility solar market in Australia
  • Develop & execute quarterly and annual plans
  • Build relationships with key industry stakeholders such as owners and developers
  • Work closely with engineering, construction and operations teams to deliver proposals
  • Pitch and lead presentations to clients
  • Attend industry events and conferences and represent FTC Solar
  • Drive reporting through Salesforce software
  • Chase leads and projects
  • Travel domestically and potentially internationally when travel restrictions lift
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline – Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil/Structural preferred)
  • Proven sales record in the Australian renewables sector – ideally within utility solar
  • Excellent network of relevant industry contacts
  • Previous experience in leading successful presentations
  • Excellent understanding of utility scale solar farms and the associated technology
  • Proven ability to influence key decision makers
  • Role to be based ideally in Sydney or Melbourne but Brisbane will still be considered
  • Excellent communicator
