Construction Manager - Energy Storage

The Construction Manager will need a deep and broad base of knowledge regarding the construction of utility-scale solar & energy storage projects.

The Construction Manager will need a deep and broad base of knowledge regarding the management and leadership in planning, scheduling, and construction of utility-scale solar & energy storage generation facilities. The Construction Manager will be a player-coach and will directly engage with partners to identify and manage a team of consultants and site teams to meet the construction execution objectives.
   
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  • Ensure standardized work plans and methods are adhered to, safety and risk management policies are followed, daily and weekly schedule and financial information is reviewed with the site team
  • Reviews, analyzes, and reports monthly on project construction budget, schedule, and quality performance and takes appropriate action to return the project to plan
  • Manage the construction contracts and interface with the Site Manager and BOP contractor.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics, project schedules, risk profiles, and cost performance of the project in accordance with company systems and practices.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support during all construction phases as need.
  • Directs implementation of project construction Safety & Health and Loss Control procedures and is responsible for ensuring that the project meets the agreed safety targets.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with managing the construction of utility-scale solar & storage energy projects.
