One of the highest regarded Civil Contractors in the Vic Marketplace are looking to expand their team with an experienced roads foreman/supervisor to manage projects across rural Victoria. Operating in a number of marketplaces this contractor, has excellent systems, a highly regarded management team and a track record in the delivery of quality projects. 

As a foreman/supervisor you will be an integral part of the team and be the face of the business on rural projects, working directly with their clients representatives and will be the key to ensuring strong production on site. Your style will be one that promotes teamwork, safety and you will have a high commitment to quality outcomes. 

The projects that you will be managing will range in scope and style but will generally be in the $1m to $5m range and you may have up to 3/4 projects that you are managing at any point in time. This is a role that requires someone to having a strong knowledge of all elements of delivering roads projects including; plant capabilities/operations, site set-out, concrete, payments, earthworks, drainage and ideally structures.

As projects are located across regional Victoria (generally west of the Hume Freeway), you be required to live away during the week with all expenses paid for. In addition you will be well compensated with a living away from home allowance. Project duration's will vary depending upon the scope of the project but could range from 4 weeks to 3 months at any given project.

To secure this role you will have a stable employment history, have worked your way up through the ranks and have a demonstrable history of successful/profitable project delivery. Experience in managing the construction of rural roads projects is a must, as is a strong level of drive/commitment. This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will have a small crew/plant on each project so must be very knowledgeable and well organised.
