Our client is an industry leader in the renewables sector, specialising in cost-saving lighting products to industrial, commercial and residential clients. As they embark on a period of continued growth, they are seeking a driven and hungry Business Development Manager to continue to capitalise on this growing sector and continue the business on its steep growth trajectory. 
  • A role focused on working with existing accounts as well as driving new business at a b2b level. 
  • Autonomous position where you can set your own work schedule with a focus on results over time spent in the office.
  • Establishing strong relationships with key decision makers within this client list;
  • Working closely with the company’s in-house design team to provide appropriate lighting designs;
  • Maintaining project tracking and customer data and forecasting to ensure budgeted sales figures are achieved for the region;
  • Training contractors on how to use the program to maximise their cost-saving;
  • Providing sales & technical support to all key stakeholders;
  • Reporting directly to the General Manager on the program performance.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in solution selling would be preferable;
  • A background in commercial and/or residential real estate would be advantageous;

  • Outstanding communication & presentation skills (both written & oral);
  • A proven track record of managing & servicing key stakeholder;
  • The ability to work autonomously and run this exciting new program as if it were their own business;
  • Extremely high levels of self-motivation and proven ability on achieving sales targets;
