ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a leader in its field, offering tertiary educational providers a platform to help grow their digital footprint on a national and global scale.
Reporting through to the Executive Director, Student Operations, the successful encumbent will be responsible for building corporate relationships across different industries. They will be comfortable operating in a target driven environment, have a strong track record in senior level relationship building, be highly motivated and ideally have a fundamental knowledge of higher education.
  
DUTIES
  • Deliver on agreed targets and strategic objectives for student recruitment;
  • Identify and further business development opportunities with targeted corporate clients;
  • Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements;
  • Recommend and implement sales tactics (including attendance at corporate events and workshops, running competitor analysis, etc.);
  • Identify ideal corporate target market to generate initial and ongoing interest in University partner programs and courses;
  • Establish and maintain productive and professional relationships with key personnel in our partner organisation;
  • Create, implement and manage processes and procedures in-line with best practice methodology, that continually seek business efficiency and process improvement;
  • Research new opportunities and analyse potential threats in the marketplace;
  • Identify new marketing channels and marketplace trends, recommend strategy changes to improve conversions and negotiate contracts.
  
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
  • Bachelor’s degree is essential, Master preferred but not essential;
  • 5 years’ experience in a sales/marketing focused environment, demonstrating sales process and strategy knowledge;
  • Experience within the Education industry is preferred;
  • Strong understanding of campaign planning and database marketing;
  • Ability to operate and thrive in fast paced, start-up environment;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with exceptional interpersonal skills;
  • Ability and flexibility to travel is necessary;
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
