ABOUT THE ROLE 

The primary purpose of the role is to operate a mission focused, financially sustainable operation with a focus on best care for our consumers. The CSS Manager has the responsibility for ensuring that a high-quality service is delivered to our consumers, while driving growth and opportunity.

DUTIES
  • Leading and developing team members to deliver safe and effective services for all consumers;
  • Supporting clients to live the life they chose;
  • Managing costs and continually improving service delivery;
  • Responding locally to service delivery issues and implementing solutions to achieve the expected consumer outcomes; 
  • Ensuring team members pursue quality of care delivery and celebrate the commitment to continually improve service delivery;
  • Achieving positive outcomes through shared care partnerships and teamwork;
  • Creating teams which can bring to market new products, with implementation supported by a highly effective team.
SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
  • Tertiary qualifications in health, social sciences or business or qualified experience is essential;
  • A minimum of 5 years managing and leading teams;
  • Post-graduate studies in business management is desirable but not essential;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and highly impactful influencing, negotiating, persuading and problem solving skills;
  • Highly organised and ability to multi-task;
  • Proven ability to analyse data and identify risks;
  • Proven ability to manage a budget within agreed financial parameters;
  • Experience in building a high performing team.
