Our client has been assisting Australia’s best education providers to increase student enrolments. Over time, their offering has evolved into far more than student leads. They provide marketplace insights; SWOT analysis; branding opportunities and enrolment services to their client base.
They are now looking to add an experienced and high-performing Account Manager to their team. Reporting to the Head Of Partnerships, the Account Manager is expected to retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned accounts.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
  • Retain and grow our client's volume, sales, and profitability through proactive management of assigned provider relationships;
  • Penetrates assigned accounts by selling new or additional products or services to current buyers; and/or finding additional buyers within the existing client location; and/or identifying and selling additional client locations/courses;
  • Working towards increasing the client's allocated budget;
  • Leading all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in proposal delivery, as needed, or as directed by management;
  • Proactively managing the provider's satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service problems, and monitoring satisfaction;
  • Managing assigned providers transition from the Business Development group during provider implementation. 
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Tertiary degree from an accredited institution;
  • Minimum three years of sales/account management experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic provider segment; or
  • A record of achievement in an Account Manager position;
  • Strong attention to detail and a ‘hands-on’ approach to client relationship management;
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and report on complex data sets;
  • Understanding of lead generation and keen interest in online marketing and advertising.
