ABOUT OUR CLIENT 

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of quality, engineered building supplies for the commercial construction sector. Due to a recent acquisition, they are seeking a diligent and experienced Finance Assistant for 6 month contract to assist the Company Finance Manager with increased reporting requirements. 

DUTIES
  • Oversee and assist in Accounting duties and work closely to the Company Finance Manager;
  • Oversee and support Accounts Payable, Receivables and End of Month duties and Head office reporting;
  • Assist in developing and documenting audit compliant processes;
  • Review monthly expenses, product costings, project expenses and management of Inventory;
  • Allocation of expenses within department and GL reconciliations;
  • Assist in adhoc project management including ERP upgrade, monthly import of data from different ERP systems.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Possess a degree in Accounting and working towards CPA;
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in medium to large manufacturing organization is advantageous;
  • Robust knowledge of MYOB advanced or similar ERP;
  • Knowledge with HFM would be looked upon favourably;
  • Possess advanced Excel skills;
  • Be a quick and hands on learner as training time is very limited.
