The team at Flagstaff Recruitment Limited (NZ) are currently seeking a suitably experienced NZCAA or CASA B1 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with ratings and currency on the Robinson R44 & R66 helicopters to support our customers operations in Vanuatu.

About you.

This is a contract position which is planned to start in early January 2021 and run for a duration of up to three (3) months. Our clients are offering a very competitive remuneration package which includes:
- Flights to Vanuatu at the beginning of the contract and to your home base at the end of the contract.
- Payment of any Covid-19 Managed Isolation requirements costs (facility and time spent in the facility).
- Competitive weekly pay rate based on 40 hours per week.
As the LAME you will undertake and certify the operational and scheduled maintenance of the aircraft. Over and above your technical duties other duties may include but will not be limited to:
- Timely and accurately maintain aircraft records and data in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Review scheduled maintenance requirements.
- Raise work orders for incoming maintenance and/or additional work.
- Be proactive in resourcing spares and materials.
- Assist with any ground movements as and when required.
- Work inclusively with the team to achieve any task safely and efficiently.
About you.
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to fulfill the following requirements:
- Appropriate trade qualifications and experience.
- Experience in operational, light or heavy maintenance of Robinson R44 & R66 helicopters.
- Hold the relevant documentation, certificates and training evidence in accordance with NZCAA or CASA regulations
- Hold a current NZCAA or CASA B1 AMEL with Robinson R44 & R66 ratings. (Powerplant & Airframe)
- Demonstrate Robinson R44 & R66 LAME certification recency.
- Be willing to participate in any customer or regulatory drug and alcohol testing.
