Finance Manager - Hands on Finance Manager required. North Lakes location. Part of Senior Management - Xero - Degree Qualified

  • $90K - $100K plus Super
  • Brisbane Northside - North lakes
  • Xero Experience required
Leading company is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager that requires you to be involved in day-to-day accounting, manage a small team and be able to be strategic working with the Senior Management team. 

  • Monthly GL journals, accruals, and all Balance Sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting
  • Lodgement and reconciliation of all Business Activity Statements and other statutory obligation (Payroll tax, Superannuation etc)
  • Management of Accounts Officers – AP, AR processing
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Cash flow reporting
  • Assist management with Budgets and Forecasting
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Weekly Payroll
  • Maintain Company Asset Register
  • Participate in the development of strategies and guidelines that enhance and promote the understanding and implementation of sound financial practices
  • Review, assess and implement process improvements
  • Assist with Audit and ensure compliance is achieved
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor level qualification in Accounting
  • CPA or CA Qualification
  • Working Knowledge of Xero
  • A sound understanding of tax obligations such as BAS, Payroll Tax, and preparation of Statutory returns
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to coach and train staff members
  • Resilience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships - internal and external
  • Strong planning and prioritization
