The Role:

Our Client is a well-known Canberra based project and construction management company who has been established for more than 20 years. They have won numerous building awards and are continuously gaining respect from clients who become repeat clients, industry experts and peers. Their portfolio of works includes residential developments and commercial builds.

As a first time Project Manager, you will report directly to the Owners and Directors and immediately gain the support required to effectively manage the company's procurement. In addition, you will facilitate and support all  construction programming, scheduling, financial reporting, contracts, quality and WHS as well as client and consultant liaison.

The successful applicant will possess:
  • Minimum 5 years high-end residential and/or commercial building experience in a similar role 
  • Industry specific territory qualifications
  • Be dedicated to all aspects of WHS and Compliance
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Experience using Buildsoft, Timberline, Jobpac or Cheops would be a significant advantage
  • Ability to communicate well and develop sound client and subcontractor relationships
You must also be comfortable with preparing monthly reports, attending PCG meetings, understand head and subcontract documents, and be proficient in the accurate preparation of writing scopes.
