The role
 
The Site Coordinator is a key role supporting our operations by combining service coordination, 'hands on' technical and customer service support.  The successful candidate will be based on site from Monday to Thursday and in the Emerald Branch on Fridays.
 
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Coordinate and organise teams of Conveyor System Technicians for daily operations
  • Manage resources for planned work
  • Plan, scope and execute jobs to the highest standard
  • Liaise with clients and contractors
  • Promote and monitor OH&S and quality compliance, ensuring each job meets its customer expectations.
  • Identify and act on business improvement and development opportunities
  • Mentor and coach Conveyor System Technicians
 
Key attributes
  • Proven experience in a similar coordinator or field service role
  • Level 3 belt splicer, a minimum of 5 years’ splicing experience
  • Underground coal experience is essential
  • Self-starter with exceptional organisational skills
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills to produce procedures and reports
  • C Class Licence essential
  • MR licence – desirable
  • Forklift Ticket – desirable

Ideally you will live in the Emerald area, otherwise, DIDO from Mackay, Rockhampton or Gladstone will be considered. Camp accommodation is provided on site Monday to Thursday.
