We have a requirement for a Standard Operating Procedure Writer to join our Manufacturing Team in Revesby.
  • Develop and write procedures to accurately document work processes and systems;
  • Review and revise documents to ensure that all writing is concise, industry terminology utilised appropriately, easy to read, and free of errors;
  • Be creative with document production and consider adult learning principles in order to increase readability and usability;
  • Complete research and due diligence to ensure procedures and work instructions reflect and comply with all relevant internal and external standards, legislation, policies and regulations e.g. OH&S and Australian Standards;
  • Maintain reliable records and files of work and revisions; and
  • Be creative with document production in order to increase readability and usability, including using visual elements such as graphics, drawings, sketches, diagrams, charts, and photos.

Skills and Experience:
  • Competent knowledge of records management practices and processes including document/record management, storage, retrieval, and document control;
  • Quality Assurance systems and Australian Standards knowledge;
  • Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment;
  • Experience in a technical writing, procedural development role; and
  • Experience within in a heavy manufacturing or mining services organisation.
