The Position

Permanent full time opportunity available for an experienced Administration Officer to join a busy Service Branch based in Paget, Mackay. 

You will be responsible for accounts payable and receivable coordination, payroll, maintaining databases and administration operations.  To succeed in this role you will need to be competent in general administration and confident in self management at times.  To really 'own this role' you will be involved in the provision of high-level support to the team, responding to enquiries, preparing documentation and data entry.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing all aspect of the daily office functions
  • Providing team support by phone and email
  • Manage accounts payable and receivables
  • Manage payroll data entry, including Petty Cash
  • Maintain database, files and other records 
  • Ad hoc administrative functions
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Experience in payroll data entry. Kronos would be an advantage.
  • Accounts payable and receivable experience
  • Payroll experience
  • General administration skills and experience
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Accurate data entry
  • Good time management skills
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt easily to changing work commitment
