What’s the Traineeship?

We have an exciting position available for a Mechanical Trainee to join our Mackay Team.

As a trainee, you will be working on key projects and shutdowns around Bowen Basin and your main responsibility will be developing your skills around conveyor maintenance, repair, and installation.

You will study and work to obtain a Certificate II in Process Manufacturing. Your learning experience will be a combination of on the job, hands-on experience along with practical theory/classroom training.

About you What you will need
  • Hold a current valid and unrestricted Australian drivers’ licence;
  • Must be over the age of 18;
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen;
  • clear national police clearance;
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces;
  • A safety focus with a willingness to learn;
