About the Role
 
This role will assist the End User with the implementation of specific Database Access Monitoring technology (DAM) across a number of target database instances. The technology is designed to protect the target data stores from accidental or intentional data loss and requires an Advanced level of expertise to install effectively.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  
  • Business requirement gathering/validation for projects
  • Design the DAM solution and create the associated technical Imperva Architecture
  • Test the DAM design throughout the project or as necessary
  • Present detailed Imperva Design/Architecture to the client
  • Deploy and install the virtual or physical system including Identify deployment strategy for phased approach to solution deployment
  • Design how the Imperva Architecture interacts with the client’s technical environment
  • On-Board Client Application by adding monitored or protected applications to the system interface
  • Configure Audit Policies and rules for auditing access to and use of monitored data
  • Configure Security Policies by Configure policies and rules to identify security events relating to the use of the solution or use of monitored data 
  • Create/Develop and execute the test plan including evaluating technical compliance with project goals 
  • Test new installed System by executing strategy for evaluating technical compliance with project goals
  • Tune the Imperva system by configuring the system application profiles to be as efficient as practical and provide as accurate a representation of applications as reasonable 
  • Operational Transition Activities to ensure a solution into the production environment 
  • Document the Imperva system as installed 
  • Train clients as required
