Sales Professional - Tauranga  
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Professional to join our clients market leading manufacturing business in Tauranga. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, goal focused and a big picture team player. Duties will include lead generation, achievement of targets, sales presentation and product demonstrations including the negotiation of new client contracts.
 
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and superb interpersonal communication skills. A proven record of successful achievement in a prior sales / business development role will be critical to your success.

Our client is a premium supplier to the marine, commercial, and recreational industry sectors. Operating at the top end of the category, their customers are seeking a quality product that exceeds performance, stands the test of time and simply looks amazing!
 
Their product range is very high quality, custom built nationwide and has recently been launched into Australia and Europe with the USA beckoning.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Working independently servicing internet inquiries, telephone calls and walk in customers.
  • Developing rapport with new customers whilst providing technical and product information specific to their requirements
  • Call cycle including follow up on leads & referrals
  • Collaboration with the marketing team to ensure sales brochures and promotional material accurately promote product quality & professional appearance.
  • Attending marketing events such as Product displays & Trade shows
  • Meet agreed KPIs including the generation of new business leads
  • Business networking, follow up on leads and referrals, visiting potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Assist in the development of systems around the CRM and business processes
  • Service existing accounts whilst forging new client relationships through effective planning and organisation of your daily work schedule
 Key Skills Attributes and Experience:
 
  • Minimum of 5 years sales and new business development experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing and or Business Administration
  • Goal focused with proven track record of success in achieving sales targets & business growth
  • A multitasker with attention to detail and ability to absorb technical information
  • A team player with proven time management and organisational skills.
  • Self-confidence, target driven and the ability to close the deal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full NZ Drivers Licence
