This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Property Management Trust Accountant to join the most innovative market leader and premier real estate agency rapidly expanding throughout the Eastern Suburbs. As the new Property Management Trust Accountant working alongside a team of expert Property Managers, your day to day responsibilities to will include but not be limited to:

  • Entering creditor disbursements & fortnightly creditor run. Administers accounts. Acts as resource person and resolves problems. Assists with preparation of journal, ledger entries and bank reconciliations. Processes or monitors the processing of financial and accounting transactions. Examines, analyses and balance accounting and financial records and documents such as bank statements, expenditures, budgets, daily, monthly & yearly audits and others. Regular bond account audits
  •  Ensures accuracy and compliance with agency government and granting agency guidelines, tax laws (as required) as well as accounting, reporting and procedures. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of these matters, relevant legislations and gives explanations to direct reports, staff and agency partners.
  • Sets up accounts, sub-accounts and Property Management Program. Receives funds and processes rental funds, client and creditor payments. Compiles and prepares material to be sent to bank. Reviews, verifies and processes expense reports, requisitions, claims, advances, reconciling daily and monthly bond account, invoicing and charges
The Candidate:
  • Previous experience in Real Estate accounts
  • Outstanding communication skills, be good with numbers, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Possess a "can do" attitude & be a great team player
